History

BVS Blechtechnik GmbH was founded in May 1989 with just one member of staff and one machine. From such humble beginnings, BVS Blechtechnik now employs 170 staff offering the entire range of processes in the sheet metalworking spectrum.

Milestones

1989	Founded with a headcount of one.
1992	Production area tripled in size. Basis laid for automated production.
1995	Took over Hewlett Packard's metalworking activities. Moved to new building. Expanded the plant and conveying inventory (punch nibbler and punch laser machines with link to high bay warehouse).
1998 to 2001	Investment in buildings (construction, commissioning, assembly shop) Expanded the plant inventory and process range (robots for folding presses, powder coating line, high-speed twin head laser).
2004 to 2012	Expanded the plant inventory (world's first Amada folding cell with automatic tool changer system, laser folding cell with thread cutter, fourth folding cell with handling robots, stud welding machine, NC round bending machine). 2008 new administration building.
